The end of the school year is the best time of the school year. School is almost over, the learning is done, and summer is quickly approaching. This year went by so fast, and my high school years are still moving faster.
This school year was really tough in the beginning because in some of my classes, I had to almost teach myself. As the year went on, however, it got easier and better. My grades have stayed mostly where I want them to be, and I have kept my homework load at home to a minimum.
Basketball this year was definitely a high point; compared to last year's season, the program could only go up from there. We had a fresh, new coaching staff, and we tripled the amount of wins we had last year. Next year, we can only keep going on up, with a new shift in the coaching positions. Track was also really good, and I got my best personal record in discus.
This summer is going to be so busy and filled with basketball, now soccer, and college/scholarship applications. I am still looking forward to a break from school, though, and I cannot wait to go to the beach and water park and all kinds of different summer activities. I also cannot wait to work and train hard for basketball and soccer, since I have decided to try out for soccer just for kicks (ba dum tss). This summer is going to be amazing and I cannot wait!
